News: short items, as they happen
When something material happens to a name we cover — a lease signed, a financing closed, guidance changed — it gets logged here in a few lines rather than waiting for a full page.
01How we use this log
The standing rule
Small news when possible. We publish short, dated items about the companies we cover as events land, instead of saving everything for a rewrite of the full page. Each item says what happened, why it matters, and links to the profile it affects.
Two things live elsewhere: factual errors go to the corrections log, and anything that changes the whole investment case gets folded back into the ticker page itself.
02The log
2026
Cipher Digital signs a second 15-year hyperscaler lease. CIFR entered a 15-year agreement to deliver HPC services to an investment-grade hyperscaler, supported by $200M of financing. It follows the November 2025 Amazon lease (~300 MW of turnkey capacity) and takes contracted revenue to roughly $11.4B across a 5.3 GW development portfolio. Worth noting: the same quarter showed revenue falling to $24.8M and a $267.5M net loss — the contracts land before the revenue does. Read the CIFR profile →
Entries are dated to the day the event was reported. Where a figure comes from reporting rather than a filing, the profile behind it says so.
